Common Problems in Pediatrics is an educational conference held virtually in 2025.

Programming will run Tuesday and Wednesday from 8amearly afternoon with programming including CME and MOC2 lectures.

Overview
Improve primary care pediatric knowledge of current updates in pediatrics with a special focus on issues facing young children with topics covering mental health, interventions to improve development and and provider interaction with parents.
Objectives
  1. Disseminate easy-to-use development resources for primary care providers.
  2. Review medication options when SSRIs don’t work for patients.
  3. Explain the implications of involvement with child welfare for children and youth.
  4. Describe how to help patients get services they need for treatment and educational success
  5. Discuss POTS and similar medical conditions
  6. Explain prevalence and diagnostics of common pediatric functional disorders 
  7. Define and diagnose eating disrders in pediatric patients
  8. Explain the landscape of vaccine hesitancy across the country and in Utah
